Well I was perusing some youtube channels and found an “8-bit remix of a song that I thought I recognized by Amon Amarth…

Then I looked it up and realized it’s a new song and they have a new album coming out in two weeks! Here’s the real song:

For completeness sake, here’s the song I THOUGHT it was (Twilight of the Thunder God). Give me a break, a lot of their songs have something to do with gods and stuff. Plus it was a 8-bit version and there are parts that are similar…

So Marlie suggested we bring this back…dunno if this can be permanent but I’m going to spread some new release happiness and awesome around in case anyone ever stumbles upon this blog again. Here’s Protest The Hero’s single “C’est La Vie” from their new album Scurrilous (drops 3/22), and The Human Abstract’s “Faust” off their new album Digital Veil (released 3/8/11)

(reminds me a LOT of Between the Buried and Me…not sure if that’s good or bad at this point)

The Almost’s I mostly copy other people is a spectacular song by an amazing band. This band was a side project by Aaron Gillepsie the drummer and vocalist of Underoath. Seeing as Underoath is one of my favorite bands I figured I’d check them out and as expected I was quite impressed.

Another band that has me motivated to posted is The Autumn Offering. This Future Disease is simply a stunning song. The band has had alot of trouble keeping members through its 10 year career but despite this difficultly they have produced some solid music.

Once again I have been motived to post. Today by a band I’ve known of for a long time but hadn’t heard in a while. Today’s band is Silverstein and the song is Call It Karma. Call It Karma is an amazing. It has a solid beat and great lyrics.
